In TENSHINRYU, the sword used in actual battle is about 66 cm(二尺二寸).
This is shorter than usual.
It is the optimum length when considering indoor battle, a confused fight and portability etc.
However, it is important to use long swords in practice.
It is not just practice of drawing Sword.
By knowing the advantages and disadvantages of a long and heavy sword, it will be advantageous when fighting with it.
